As you know, Nemesis Now has been dispatching orders with a limited workforce for the past two months. We have tried to get your orders dispatched quickly and enquiries answered as soon as possible and are now beginning to get back to business as usual with more of our treasured Nemesionians returning to the workplace.
As of the 15th June, the government has declared that non-essential shops will be allowed to reopen in England and so we thought this was the perfect time to give you a business update to help guide you through the changes we have made to ensure we are still here supporting you.
How are we keeping safe?
We are continuing to comply with public health and government guidelines in an effort to protect customers and our staff members including practising physical distancing and maintaining the highest possible standards of hygiene. All UK government guidelines are closely followed and we will continue to monitor and adapt our services as required.
As a company we are following the “5 Steps to a Safer Working Environment” guidelines:
- Risk assessments are continuously being carried out to ensure we are always evolving our safety procedures.
- We have rolled out multiple cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures throughout the business.
- Those who are still currently working from home are receiving help from the company to ensure they are comfortable.
- 2m social distancing markers have been placed around the building to ensure people are constantly reminded to keep their distance from others.
- Where our staff cannot be 2m apart, we have made every effort to ensure we have reduced the risk of transmission by using screens, partitions and PPE.
What does this mean for our customers?
We have made all of the necessary changes to ensure the safety of our staff, so what have we done for our loyal customers?
Free UK Delivery
Shortly before the lockdown was announced we introduced our UK free delivery at £50.00 before VAT promotion to help those of you who were still trading. We are extending this to further show our support to our customer base, meaning that you do not have to worry about shipping charges.
We are currently trying to work on next day dispatch thanks to our hard-working Warehouse Operatives, however, cannot always guarantee this due to high volumes of orders. Our dedicated courier, DPD, is collecting your orders from us every day and are trying their best to have your order delivered as soon as possible. Occasionally there will be slight delays so we thank you for your patience.
Our showroom will be open to customers by appointment only from 15th June 2020.
If you would like to come and visit us you will need to call us on 01782 596660 or email email@example.com to make an appointment with our Sales team. This is to ensure that we can control the number of staff and visitors to the showroom in order to maintain social distancing.
If you start to feel unwell before your appointment date then please contact us to reschedule your visit.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a Sales Representative who will be in Full PPE (wearing a mouth covering and gloves). You will be asked to answer a few questions (pictured below) before taking your temperature.
Once this is done you are free to take in all of the beautiful products in their full glory. If you wish to feel or handle any products you will need to wear gloves. These will be provided by your Sales Representative, for your safety.
If you would like to place an order then that is fine. You can place your order with your Sales Representative as usual and then wait in our showroom while your order is being picked and packed. We ask that you use card to make payment (where possible) but do have the facilities to accept cash payments safely if necessary.
When your order is ready you will be asked to drive to our warehouse entrance. You will need to reverse your vehicle to the shutter door and relax in your car while our Warehouse Operatives load your vehicle whilst wearing PPE.
We are happy to arrange collections for those of you who wish to pick up your orders directly from our Warehouse. Please place your order over our website and select ‘Collection’ under the Shipping Methods tab. Make sure you add a comment to let us know when you will be collecting your order. We would appreciate it if you could use your card to make payment online (where possible) but do have the facilities to accept cash payments if necessary.
If you start to feel unwell before your collection date then please contact us to reschedule your visit.
On your day of collection, if you have paid for your order online you will need to drive to our warehouse entrance. When you get here please ring the warehouse bell and a member of the team will come to you. You will then need to reverse your vehicle to the shutter door and relax in your car as our Warehouse Operatives load your vehicle (whilst wearing PPE).
Alternatively, if you are paying with cash, you will need to go to our reception, where one of our Customer Services team will take your payment. You will then need to drive to our warehouse entrance and reverse your vehicle to the shutter door. In the meantime, our Customer Services team will let the Warehouse know that you are here to collect and you can relax in your car as our Warehouse Operatives load your vehicle (whilst wearing PPE).
