Amanda Clark

Amanda Clark lives in a country village in England. She is a mainly self-taught artist from an artistic family, and was encouraged to paint from an early age; earning a National Diploma in ceramics and surface pattern design in the early 1990's, which helped her develop her use of colour and pattern in her paintings.

As an artist, Amanda is inspired by folklore and myths and the peacefulness of beautiful landscapes with a twist of fairy-tale and magic. She paints in acrylic and watercolour creating depth and pattern to the beautiful colours in her creations. She has also illustrated a series of books authored by her brother, Robin Craig Clark.

Amanda has been able to enjoy a full-time career in painting and illustrating, and has collectors of her artwork from around the world.
